The Fordham Foundry

Overview

The Fordham Foundry is focused on creating and growing small businesses, subsequently creating endless opportunities to solidify the Bronx as the next hub of growth and renewal in New York City. The Foundry grew out of Fordham's commitment to business that advances society in a way greater and more meaningful than profit. Companies that get their start here share the common thread of sharp thinking about how to financially succeed while adding value to the world.

The Challenge

Our creative plan primary object was to define and communicate visually idea development, naturally. Requirements included a contemporary logo and a website that accurately portrayed Fordham Foundry as an exciting, professional business incubator.

The Solution

Logo: We believe that an effective logo should be simple, memorable, versatile and distinctive. Fordham Foundry met those objectives. We created a logo, simple in design, yet established a modern contemporary flare without being overdrawn.

Web: Our design for the foundry had to be simple, engaging, and communicate 'creative thought' to potential entrepreneurs. Built on a custom WordPress platform, the site allows personal membership profiles built for each company.
